Going deeper through the speakers…a night of pure house music magic.
“We are extremely proud of the fact that during a time when Chicago has had its challenges in terms of violence, we put 40,000 in a park on the South Side and in 29 years have not had a single act of violence or serious security incident of any kind. I attribute that to three things. First, the very nature of house music, which does not glorify or promote violence in any way. In fact, just about every vocal house music song ever made is about one or two things: Love and/or dancing. Second, the culture that surrounds house music is about peace, love and music. House heads just don’t do violence. And finally, contrary to stereotypes, I think most people in Chicago are kind, warm and non-violent people. Those are the people who attend the Chosen Few Picnic & Festival”.
